Hey there! Thanks for taking a look at my
little chunk of cyberspace. On these pages are subjects that I find
interesting and maybe you will too, From views of the desert
to my work as a carpenter.
I've lived in the desert (Indio Ca. about 20 miles East of
Palm Springs)
for 44 years and really enjoy the area. When I first moved here it was pretty much open desert
and citrus groves,
Now most of the desert in this area is covered with houses.
You might think the desert is boring but if you do a little exploring there's alot of interesting things to see,
petroglyphs, old mining operations,desert shacks, and oasis's are just a few of the things I've found while kicking around
the back country
I've been a carpenter for about 30 years and still enjoy the challange of turning an architects vision into a house
(sometimes harder than it should be, But I don't want to go off on a rant here).
