What I Do

These are a few examples of the kind of work I do. I like the challenge of framing curved elements and exposed beam ceilings. Luckily when I started out I worked for an awsome roof cutter who had the patience to teach me the fundamentals (Thanks Fergie!) on which I've built my knowledge. Anyone wanting tips and tricks on this kind of framing feel free to e-mail me, I'll be glad to help if I can.

Here are some pics of a decorative ceiling element I built for aChris McFadden house in The Quarry at La Quinta I built it using dimensions given to me by persons who shall remain nameless('cause his name is on my checks). Long story short it didn't fit so I had to cut the curved members and splice in pieces to correct the problem. Moral of the story...NEVER TRUST SOMEONE ELSE'S NUMBERS
setting up to scribe crowded work area and away we go! whew! done
setting up to scribe the first two elipses no room in the cabinet shop so I got stuck in the storage room Loaded up and ready to go, The first time.
I got more than a few looks going down the road
I was glad to see it in place. The camera flash really shows the dust floating around a jobsite. cough cough
